CHRIS GARRITY
Creative Director/Designer for a promotional advertising company who likes to think he can draw comics, but seems to spend most of his time finding ways to stay away from the drawing board. For those rare times that he does manage to actually work on something, he has to wear a stocking cap to keep the hair out of his eyes. Good luck finding him anywhere else on the Web, as he tries to leave the smallest digital footprint possible. tarzilla65@gmail.com |

JOEL NIMOCKS
Monument graphic artist for Van Gemert Memorials, fly-by-night abstract painter, amateur comics artist... and drummer. Joel does computer design work and hand etchings on granite memorials as his daytime profession. For the last several years he has focused on painting as his art interest outside of work, but is now revisiting his younger days when he drew comics on his own and did illustrations and comics for his high school newspaper. This has also been a great opportunity to further develop his drawing and writing skills. rocknrollcarlito@yahoo.com |
GILES LA ROCK
My work for the past 20 years has drawn upon a vast variety of inuences. I would describe myself as both an artist and a visual story teller. Childrens toys and games are a great source of inspiration for my work. They often provide me with a cast of characters as i tell my stories. The work before you speaks to some of the many adventures that my childhood toys embarked upon. Like the lonely drifter in a vast desert, searching for a stage coach to rob and a captain navigating his ship while on the verge of peril. I am often looking for paths of the unexpected. An ironic twist to images or things you might not expect. Provoking a participant to new and perhaps unexplored ideas. lhooq32@yahoo.com |
